VerbaTick began in a slightly unusual place: nine minutes into a conversation with myself about telepathy, mind-reading and typing with one finger.

Then, somewhere in the final minute, a light bulb switched on.

What would happen if I asked AI to analyse everything I had just been discussing, turn it into a conceptual design brief, and begin building an application from it?

One rule: no keyboard

There was one additional rule: I would not touch the keyboard.

The entire product would be developed through conversation, as close to 100 per cent vibe coding as possible.

The pencil marks underneath

The project originally carried the working name VFVC, and traces of that early identity still remain throughout the source folders, resources and internal architecture. Rather than cleaning every reference away, those remnants have become part of the origin story. They are the digital pencil marks beneath the finished design, showing where the idea began before it became VerbaTick.

From conversation to commitment

The name captures the product’s core purpose:

VerbaTick is designed to turn spoken thoughts, meetings and loosely formed ideas into structured outcomes. A conversation can become a commitment. A commitment can become a task. A task can be assigned, scheduled, tracked and completed.

Instead of requiring people to translate natural conversation into carefully formatted project plans, VerbaTick begins with the way ideas often arrive in real life: unfinished, overlapping, slightly chaotic and still finding their shape.

The platform analyses what has been said, identifies actions and responsibilities, and helps convert them into something usable. Tasks, commitments, calendar items and follow-ups can all emerge from the same conversational stream.

The loop closes

But the loop goes one step further.

VerbaTick was built through vibe coding, and now vibe coding is built into VerbaTick.

Throw an idea at it and the platform can begin helping you shape the concept, plan the work and start building what comes next. Inside its development workspace, ideas can move from conversation into technical planning, implementation tasks and reviewable changes.

That recursive quality sits at the heart of the product.
